Joe Richey, a Boulder writer, has followed the militarization of the US-Mexico border and human rights abuses suffered by “the crossers” since 2005.  He has written on this topic for “Expansíon,” a Time magazine subsidiary in Mexico City, and for alternative media in the United States.
