Medical marijuana panel this Friday

City officials and dispensary operator in noon panel at library

| Jun 9, 2010

PLAN-Boulder County will host a discussion Friday, June 11 on medical marijuana regulations. The topic is timely due to recent legislation passed by both the Colorado General Assembly and the Boulder City Council designed to control and limit the sale of marijuana to patients who use the drug to combat effects from a number of illnesses.

The forum will be held in the Boulder Creek Room of the downtown public library from noon until 1:30 PM. Panelists will include representatives of the City of Boulder attorney’s office, Boulder Police and a medical marijuana dispensary. The forum will be moderated by Boulder Reporter columnist Eric Karnes.

The public is invited. Ample time will be allowed for questions and comments from the audience.
