It was short on speechifying (25 minutes from Jared) and long on friendships old and new as those legendary Boulder ultra-liberals chatted oh-so-amiably from 5 p.m. into a warmish winter night. Let’s take a look.
INCUMBENTS: Boulder County Commissioner Cindy Domenico and Jared Polis huddled for some political talk.
MAN SQUAD: Makin’ with the man talk are (l. to r.) Marlon Reis, Bob Morehouse and Steven Levin.
BIG-TIME SUPPORTERS: Three hardcore political activists greeting guests were Caitlin Leahy, Lisa Kaufmann, Polis’s campaign manager, and Chrissy Crown, constituent advocate on Polis’s staff.
LUTZ & ASSOCIATE: A happy foursome indeed were Ellen Lutz, Bernd Lutz, Monika Lutz (flashing Polis campaign button) and Cass Krughoff.
CITY SOLONS: And then there appeared that husband-and-wife duo of John Spitzer (currently on the Landmarks Board) and Council Member Crystal Gray.
PUBLIC SERVANTS: Activist lawyer Barry Satlow (left) hangs with tireless arts promoter and Boulder Community Media honcho Alan O’Hashi and former City Council Member Sally Martin.
LEFTIE ALERT: Tara Worley and Sarah Fieldsteel were talking up things progressive when we eavesdropped.
YOUTH BRIGADE: Three politically minded Fairview High School students were (l. to r.) Spanish exchange student Midori Rey Ishihara, and the sister team of Shannon Burke and Signe Burke
.
CONFERRING:The threesome of Christina Jean, Christopher Smith and Carrie Jackson were deep in a tete-a-tete.
