The Association of Writers & Writing Programs is a national nonprofit literary organization for teachers and writers, and this year they held their national conference in Colorado. The event was co-sponsored by Naropa University’s legendary Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics.

KGNU’s Maeve Conran spoke with poet Anne Waldman, one of the founders of the School of Disembodied Poetics, about the significance of such a literary event in the Metro area.
