Camera’s publisher moves production work to Asia

The publisher of the Camera, Colorado Daily and Longmont Times-Call will
“outsource print and digital advertising design operations to Illinois-based Affinity Express. Affinity Express, an advertising production firm, has locations in India and Indonesia.”
So, local ads for our local newspapers will now be produced in Asia? The article also notes that the layout of all Prairie Mountain’s publications will move to Denver Post headquarters. Camera publisher Al Manzi is quoted about the offshoring of ad creation:
“Our industry is no different than the auto industry, which has parts of American cars made all over the world. … Nearly every product we consume has outsourced production somewhere in its process.”
Globalization gone wild.
