Hey everybody! Don’t forget – the BOULDER 350 GLOBAL WORK PARTY is THIS SUNDAY, 10/10/10!

The day is looking full and fantastic for all ages and interests, so please come and help spread the word (forward this message)!!!  (Sign up for workshops online now to save your space and be entered into a prize giveaway.)

Global action on climate change starts locally! Rise to the challenge by participating in the Boulder 350 Global Work Party on 10/10/10 – this year’s biggest day of international practical action to cut carbon emissions. The Boulder and Denver events will join over 6000 Global Work Parties occurring in over 180 countries! There are over 55 workshops and work parties in CO!  Attend hands-on carbon-reduction workshops and discussions and join in on field trips to reduce your carbon footprint and help address the serious problem of climate change we all face. All members of the Boulder community, including kids, teens, students and adults, are invited to participate.

Boulder 350 Global Work Party Schedule of Events:
Morning Workshops 9 – 11 am – Naropa University’s Arapahoe Campus and elsewhere

11 – 11:30 am – iMatter March. March with the Earth Guardians from Naropa to the UMC to support climate action now!

Activism Activities
11:30 am – 5 pm – CHALK your ideas for climate solutions, SIGN the Get to Work, Washington! petition and CALL the Colorado EPA and State Department to let them know too!

11:30 am – noon – Live music by Boulder band Musha Marimba

12 – 12:45pm – Kick-Off Rally
