Coming soon: travel news

Boulder people are traveling people!
With this in mind, we’re now open for Boulder-based travel writers and videographers to tell us where you’ve been and how it went. A good example will be our forthcoming account of our last trip (and your next trip!) to Tulum, on the Mexican Riviera south of Cancun. Oh yes you will! Can you possibly resist?
We’re going to make it very easy, with info on airlines and charter flights, plus hotels guaranteed to please you around Tulum and Akumal. You’ll see other Boulderites — we always do! You’ll escape the teeming hordes of Cancun and Playa del Carmen and spend your time mostly with Europeans, and hipper Americans. You’re gonna love it. Emphasis on affordability, too. And, oh yes, the Maya. They’ll be all around you. You can stake out a place to cower looking skyward when the Mayan calendar “ends” in 2012 (actually, the Mayans will tell you, matter-of-factly, that it’s “just a legend”).
Anyhoo, would love to fill you in on all the details about your Mexican vacation right now but, alas, time is fleeting at the moment. But at least we found the time to launch a new section of Boulder Reporter. So there!
